Your saline tears
Enter my body
Intravenously.
Your saline tears
Pierce my
Soul
I said cry me a river,
And so you did;
Theading it through my veins,
Then auctioning me off
For the highest
Bid.
And now,
Here I lie,
Upon this hospital bed,
That's probably really
Only in my
Head.
Honey, why don't you put stopper
On your river,
My body can take no more.
Keep it goin'
And I'll be
Sprawled on the floor,
Your salt-water tears
Draining from my
Pores.
Honey, please put a stopper
On your river,
I can take no more.
Enter my body
Intravenously.

staring into the headlights is like being in a room where everything is white and you close your eyes and it's still white and you're doing nothing but breathing and it's beautiful because you're alive but you're not thinking. you're alive but you're not thinking because your brain is full of nothing. it's beautiful.
I stare.
I breathe.
I think.
I cry.
I sleep.
I wake again, shivering and curled up on the floor.

Their skin is rain-colored, and lightly stained with pomegranate red to remind them of when the saints were called upon to slit their throats while the summertime sky was asleep,
(and they don't remember because they were busy lying through their teeth, hoping that it would count as flossing.)
There are three of them, three beautiful girls, suspended over the land in a balcony by a thundering ocean. Their eyelids have flaked away, and the older of the three girls mutters;
"Now we can see the world the way it is meant to be seen, with our eyes wide open."
and the other two reply simultaneously, less than excited;
"I'd rather see this wor
